Sport A great advantage of the CA exercise performed in our study is that it realistically reflects the decision-making process undertaken by patients and physicians in daily clinical practice. The attributes and attribute levels represented in the choice experiments realistically characterize all treatment options available for moderate and severe psoriasis. To our knowledge, our study is the first to explore and compare preferences for process and outcome attributes for all available psoriasis treatments. Clearly, our findings should be verified in larger and more diverse patient samples before generalizations can be made. Our study included only a subpopulation of patients with moderate to severe psoriasis treated in a German university hospital, and patient preferences may be different among individuals with mild psoriasis. We cannot imply that our findings are transferable to patients in other cultures and health systems. Furthermore, the effects of other disease-related factors, such as disease duration, previous treatment experience, and comorbidities, on patient preferences for psoriasis treatment need to be explored.

Whether applied to the body or to the scalp, potent corticosteroids were less likely than vitamin D to cause 'local adverse events', such as skin irritation or burning, and people were therefore more likely to stop using vitamin D products. When studies examined whether topical treatments had effects within the body ('systemic adverse events'), we found no difference between placebo and any other treatment. However, this may be because many trials did not properly assess systemic adverse events, rather than because there really was no difference.

Generalized pustular psoriasis is extremely rare. It can occur on any part of the body and is characterized by the development of white/yellow sterile pustules, on a background of red skin. It is not an infection and is not contagious. It tends to be preceded by other forms of psoriasis and is often trigged by an infection, or the withdrawal of certain medications.
In most cases, diagnosis of psoriasis is fairly straightforward. Statistics from Altmetric.com

Exercise both increases the body’s production of endorphins (chemicals that improve mood and energy) and reduces levels of the body’s stress hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol. So more exercise may prove helpful for overall stress and for fewer and less-severe flares.
